We will gladly replace defective or missing parts at no additional charge, if notified of the problem within 14 days of receipt of the item.

All purchases of sales items are final. No returns or exchanges will be honored for sale items.

Returns (when applicable)

Contact us by email at modhouseiowa@gmail.com or by phone at 712.224.2555 to make sure your items are eligible for return or exchange. (Unapproved items will not be accepted.)

Returned merchandise must be in original condition and in the original packaging, and must be unused. Return shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer. Opened merchandise will not be accepted for return or exchange.

Do not refuse delivery on an item because it appears damaged. It usually is much easier to send a replacement part than to resend the entire piece of furniture.

- If an item is damaged or defective, we will replace the damaged/defective part. In some cases, at the manufacturer's discretion, we may replace the entire item.

- Find out the letter/number of the replacement parts needed (refer to parts list in assembly instructions), as well as the quantity.

- Save any damaged packaging, as FedEx/UPS may wish to inspect it, should we file a claim.

- If possible, have customer send photographs of the damaged packaging/product.

- Does the problem appear to be damage caused in transit, or a factory defect?

- All sales are final. Because of the cost of shipment, and the wear and tear incurred during shipment, returns are not possible.

- If anything is missing (particularly hardware), please have customer retain packaging until you have contacted us.

- It is your responsibility to notify your customers of these conditions at the point of sale, so that your customer does not accidentally refuse a package or throw away their packaging.

- If you receive an LTL shipment, confirm when accepting the order that you have received the same number of pieces (boxes) as are noted on the bill of lading.

Limited Warranty

Products are covered by a Limited Warranty, the terms and conditions of which are hereby incorporated by reference into this contract.

All delivery and performance dates are estimates only and the time of delivery will not be deemed of the essence of the contract.

Production Qualities

Please remember that some of our products may show differences in color or texture that do not necessarily indicate defectiveness. Such differences are inherent in the manufacturing of some of our hand made products, so you may expect that there will be minor distinctions that will make your purchase unique.

Lastly, please note that we reserve the right to alter minor details of the products featured on this site and in other informational materials we provide in the interest of maintaining product quality and design integrity. Accordingly, products shipped to you may differ slightly from those depicted on this site or in such materials.
