Shipping Costs: Our costs depend on the total weight of the items in your cart, as well as your location. Different shipping methods will be offered to you at different costs on the final checkout page.

Order Processing: Stars-N-Stripes always tries to get orders out as fast as possible. We understand that you might need your uniforms and accessories as quickly as possible. However, please keep in mind that we need some time to process your order (and in certain scenarios custom making the item ordered), as well as orders that were received prior to yours. Our advertised order processing time is 7 to 10 business days.

Most of our orders ship within 5 days but some may take longer such as items on backorder (in certain situations we might arrange a split partial shipment for multiple items). The 7 to 10 business days are in effect for orders that do not have special services. If an order includes a special service (for example, medal mounting services, engraving, embroidery, thin ribbon mounting or sewing alterations), then the total order might not ship until that service is complete. Most special service orders take approximately 7 business days to complete.

Orders that require engraving, embroidering, sewing and alterations will not ship immediately as we need time to perform these services. The extra time needed varies.

Mounted Ribbons, Medals and Mini Medals take up to 10 business days to produce. Those are custom made for you and are not cancelable, returnable or exchangeable.

Next Day and Overnight Shipping Methods:

Unfortunately, Stars-N-Stripes does not offer these services at this time due to our possible 7 to 10 day handling and processing time for some custom orders. Most shipments are sent out as priority mail through USPS which generally takes 2 to 3 business days after being processed. Business days do not include weekends and there is no weekend delivery for any of our shipping methods.

International Shipping:

Currently, we do not ship to U.S. Territories, APO/FPO, Canada or other international addresses.

Upon shipping your order, we will automatically email you a shipping notification. The shipping notification will include a tracking number (if applicable, depending on the shipping method you selected when ordering). In some cases, some emails will interpret our shipping notifications as spam.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Due to extensive return policy abuse, our policy has changed. We are no longer accepting returns on used products. For unused and packaged items, our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately, we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as food, books or magazines cannot be returned. We also do not accept products that are sanitary goods, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable)

Refunds (if applicable)

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately, sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges (if applicable)

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.
