Order Processing & Shipping

Most orders are processed and shipped within 3–5 business days and typically arrive within 5–10 business days from the date of purchase. Pre-order items are generally shipped within 20 days.International orders may take longer depending on the carrier’s transit time and the customs clearance policies of the destination country.

Import Duties, Taxes, and Customs

Recipient Responsibility: All orders are shipped on a Delivered at Place (DAP) basis, also commonly referred to as DDU. Import duties, tariffs, import taxes, customs clearance charges, brokerage fees, and any other destination-country charges are not included in the product price or shipping charge and are the sole responsibility of the recipient.

Payment of Import Charges: The recipient must pay all applicable import charges directly to the carrier, customs authority, customs broker, or other relevant authority when requested. KARUNO OUTDOOR does not collect or prepay import duties, tariffs, or customs clearance charges at checkout.

Sales Tax and VAT: Any sales tax or VAT expressly shown as collected at checkout is separate from import duties and other customs charges assessed by the destination country.

Customs Cooperation: The recipient is responsible for providing any information, identification, or documentation required for customs clearance and for responding promptly to requests from the carrier or customs authority.

Refusal or Non-payment: If the recipient refuses delivery or fails to pay required duties, taxes, fees, or other customs charges, the recipient remains responsible for the order value and all related shipping, return, storage, disposal, brokerage, and customs costs.

Customs Risk: We are not liable for customs-related delays or for packages rejected, returned, destroyed, abandoned, or seized because of local regulations, missing recipient documentation, or unpaid charges. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

Incorrect or Incomplete Shipping Address Provided by Customer

Please ensure that all shipping information provided at checkout is accurate.If an incorrect, incomplete, or invalid address is supplied by the customer and the package cannot be delivered or is returned to sender:

•We are not responsible for the failed delivery.

•Any additional shipping charges, return-to-sender fees, re-delivery fees, or delays caused by the incorrect address must be borne by the customer.

•If a refund is requested due to a failed delivery resulting from incorrect address information, the customer will be responsible for all associated shipping costs and processing fees, in accordance with our Refund Policy .

Shipping Costs & Return Liability Alignment with Refund Policy

Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to a verified product quality issue.For all non-quality-related returns or exchanges:

•The customer is responsible for the return shipping cost.

•Any additional shipping charges for resending a replacement item (if applicable) are the customer’s responsibility.

If a product is confirmed to have a quality issue, we will cover all shipping costs related to the return or replacement, consistent with our Refund Policy .

Lost or Delayed Shipments

Once an order has been handed over to the courier, the shipment becomes the responsibility of the carrier.While we will assist where possible, we are not liable for delays caused by courier operations, customs clearance, weather conditions, or other factors outside our control.

Our refund policy is valid for 7 days, starting from the date the shipment is successfully delivered (“delivered” status as shown by the courier).If more than 7 days have passed since the confirmed delivery date, we are unable to offer a refund or exchange. Refunds are only provided for items that are defective or damaged.

To be eligible for a refund, your item must be unused, in its original condition, and in its original packaging.A receipt or proof of purchase is required to complete your return.

Once your returned item is received and inspected, we will notify you via email regarding the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, your refund will be processed and applied to your original method of payment within a few days.

Processing Fee & Payment Charges

Please note that an 8% processing fee will be deducted from all approved refunds.This fee covers:

Shopify’s non-refundable payment processing charges, and

the mandatory currency conversion fees applied when the payment is received and again when the refund is issued.

We process all payments in Hong Kong Dollars (HKD).If you pay in a currency other than HKD, Shopify will automatically convert your payment into HKD at checkout, and convert the refund back to your original currency upon refund.These currency conversion fees are charged solely by Shopify and are not returned to us; therefore, they must be deducted from your refund amount.

Responsibility for Returns & Exchanges

If a product is confirmed to have a quality issue, we will cover all shipping costs and processing fees related to the return or exchange.

Warranty coverage is determined by the respective brand’s individual policy. We will inform you of the applicable warranty terms for your product via email.

If the return or exchange is not due to our error or a product quality issue, you will be responsible for all shipping costs associated with returning the item and shipping any replacement.

Sale Items

Only regular-priced items may be refunded.Sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. To exchange an item, please email support@karuno-outdoor.com and send your item to:

Return Shipping

For non-quality-related returns, you are responsible for the return shipping cost.Shipping costs are non-refundable and will be deducted from the final refund amount.
