Shipping:

Murphy Bed Depot makes every effort to ship frame and hardware orders within 2 business days. Allow an additional 2-10 days for transit time. Transit delays, following Murphy Bed Depot's handing off of the product to the carrier, do not negate Murphy Bed Depot's return policy. If, during a transit delay, a customer decides they no longer want the product, the customer will be responsible for return shipping charges and a restocking fee.

If, upon receipt of any Murphy Bed Depot shipment, any parts or hardware are damaged, missing, or defective, Murphy Bed Depot will replace the parts or hardware at no cost, to the original shipping address, if notified in writing within 3 business days of receipt (email is sufficient).

Murphy Bed Furniture Shipping:

Murphy Bed Depot offers free shipping and inside delivery to the 48 contiguous United States. Free shipping excludes Alaska, Hawaii, US Protectorates and remote or hard to reach areas. Some addresses are not covered by our carrier(s), due to narrow roads, dirt roads, steep roads or driveways, or other obstacles. Please notify Murphy Bed Depot in writing immediately upon purchase if you suspect this may be the case for your shipping address. If your shipping address falls under this category, we will offer free shipping to the carrier's nearest terminal.

Free shipping excludes most products not purchased directly through murphybeddepot.com.

Murphy Bed Depot carefully and thoroughly packages all shipments, surrounding your Murphy Bed Cabinet in wood or plywood, usually 3/4" thick. We ask that all recipients carefully inspect their package(s) upon arrival and note on the receipt of delivery "Possible Internal Damage" unless every part is inspected prior to signing. You must notify Murphy Bed Depot of any damage, in writing, within 3 days of receipt (email is sufficient).

Murphy Bed Depot's average production time for Made-to-Order Murphy Bed Furniture is approximately 2 months. Time in transit will add another 2-15 business days.

Please note that for any and all made-to-order products, the shipping estimate is not a guaranteed shipment date. While we do all we can to ship within the usual timeline estimated, manufacturing delays occasionally occur, leading to longer lead times. Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.

Returns Our frame, mechanism, and hardware policy lasts 14 days. If 14 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

All returns are subject to a 25% restocking fee, at minimum.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable) Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error Any item that is returned more than 14 days after delivery

Refunds (if applicable) Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable) If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at office@murphybeddepot.com.

Special Order items (if applicable) Only regularly stocked items may be refunded, unfortunately special order items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges (if applicable) We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at office@murphybeddepot.com and send your item to: 6370 US Highway 1 N Saint Augustine Florida US 32095.

Gifts If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
