Overview

Depending upon your purchase Design for the PPL may utilize multiple services and freight companies to fulfill your order. While we strive to only offer items that are available in a timely manner, occasionally an item may have a lead time longer than one may like. You will receive an email from our customer support team after your order is placed letting you know expected lead times and method of shipment. If at that time you would like to amend your order, please contact Design for the PPL customer service info @designfortheppl.com within 24 hours to make any changes. Lead teams are always approximate, but Design for the PPL strives to provide the most accurate up to date information possible.

Please note that items can only be delivered to the original address provided at the time of order. In order to facilitate delivery please provide a phone number and email address that will allow both Design for the PPL and the delivery agent to contact you to arrange delivery. Design for the PPL’s policy is to hold items for up to 5 days for delivery. After that period the customer will become responsible for for any storage fees incurred. Any damager or loss occurring beyond the 5 day time frame is not the responsibility of Design for the PPL. Additionally it is the responsibility of the buyer to ensure items will fit inside entry points upon delivery of the item. Design for the PPL will not be held responsible if the piece does not fit in the buyer’s delivery location. If this does occur, customers are subject to a 20% restocking fee for the returned item pending approval from Design for the PPL, in addition to any return shipping costs. If a return is approved, furniture must be in its original packaging. The buyer must inspect all items carefully upon arrival. When possible, please note any and all damage on the Agents proof of delivery form. The buyer will then need to contact our customer care team immediately with all necessary information and will will work to get the issue resolved. Please be sure to include your order number, as well as photos of the original packaging and the damaged item. All damages are required to be reported within 24 hours of delivery receipt.

Local Delivery

Local delivery is available within the Spokane, Coeur d'Alene. This service is available in a 100 mile radius from 99201 incurring flat rate charges ranging from $150 to $300.

In Store Pickup

In-store pickup is available for a selection of items and is dependent upon stock availability. All items must be available at our showroom location and/or local warehouses. Please reach out to our customer care team to inquire if the items you are looking to purchase are available for pick up. A member of our team will respond within 24 to 48 hours.

Delivery Surcharge

Furniture items and items that are bulky, heavy, or limited availability may have a delivery surcharge in addition to standard delivery and processing charges. Exceptions to the standard shipping are noted on the product page, and any additional charges will be displayed when the item is added to your shopping cart.

Alaska, Hawaii and U.S. Territories

At present, we do not ship to Alaska, Hawaii or the U.S. Territories. White Glove & Freight Delivery items and some heavy or oversized items cannot be shipped outside of the contiguous 48 states.

Shipping to a P.O. Box

We do not ship to a P.O. Box at this time.

International Shipping

At present, we cannot ship orders to addresses outside the US.

We strive to provide the highest quality customer service and want our PPL to love their purchases. We offer returns on select online purchases within 15 days of receiving your item/items.

Can I Cancel My Order After I've Made a Purchase on the Website?

We offer immediate order cancellations up to 24 hours after purchasing. Please contact us at info@designfortheppl.com within the 24 hour window, we will cancel and refund you in full.

All custom, made to order, furniture, artwork and lighting are final sale and not eligible for returns.Return shipping for eligible items is the responsibility of the purchaser. Upon receipt of returned items Design for the PPL will credit the original payment method minus a 20% restocking fee.All items returned must be in their original packaging and in unused condition.

Missing, Damaged or Incorrect Items

While we work with best in class shippers, there is always a chance that you may receive an item that was damaged in transit or has manufacturing defects. Please inspect all items upon delivery and contact Design for the PPL within 24 hours if you discover any issues. Any issues reported after 48 hours of receipt will be at Design for the PPL’s discretion to rectify.Returns are refunded in the original payment form for the merchandise price, less shipping and handling and a 20% restocking fee.

- Proof of purchase is required for a refund

- Tax charges are refunded in accordance to state and county laws

- Custom special order items may only be canceled or changed within 24 hours of placing the order. We do not accept returns on these items. Custom orders include art and furniture purchased online and in store.

- The item/s must be in the same condition that you received.

- Gift cards are not eligible for returns or exchanges.

We recommend insuring and retaining tracking information on your return shipment, as we cannot give credit for items that do not arrive to our warehouse.

Exchanges

Exchanges can be made in store or via contacting

info@designfortheppl.com . We will only exchange items if they are defective or damaged.

Refunds

Once your return has been received and inspected by a member of our team, we will send an email notifying that we have received your returned item. We will also notify of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to the original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven’t received a refund within 7 days of confirmation, please first double check your bank account. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at info@designfortheppl.com .

Sale Items

Please note that sale items are final and are not returnable or exchangeable except for manufacturing defects not clearly noted at the time of purchase.

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
