Domestic Shipping:

Service is available throughout the United States.

Applies only to UPS Ground or USPS Standard shipping within the Continental United States.

Excludes Alaska, Hawaii, and Canada.

Order Processing:

In-stock items typically ship within 3–5 business days. Items shipped directly from manufacturers may require additional processing time.

Delivery times vary based on your location and selected shipping method, ranging from 5–15 business days.

Orders may ship from multiple locations and arrive in separate shipments, each with its own tracking information.

We endeavor to maintain stock levels, but occasionally products may be backordered. You will be notified promptly in such cases and can choose to wait, select an alternative, or cancel for a refund.

Additional Charges:

Some bulky or oversized items may incur additional shipping costs, noted on the product detail page.

Additional shipping charges may apply to any order at any time. If applicable, you will be notified by email.

Wholesale Orders: Please note that all wholesale orders will be charged shipping separately. Shipping costs for wholesale transactions are calculated based on size, weight, delivery location, and carrier rates, and will be invoiced accordingly after order confirmation.

Tariff and Customs Fees:

Some products may be subject to additional tariff and customs fees based on the country of destination. These fees are the responsibility of the buyer and will vary according to local regulations and customs laws.

International Shipping:

Canadian shipments include transportation and customs clearance but exclude import duties or taxes, which are the recipient's responsibility.

For refused packages in Canada, we reserve the right to charge your card for all associated costs.

International buyers may use their own carriers; we recommend services like Shipito.com for personal account setup.

All international orders are subject to potential changes in customs duties and shipping fees.

Shipping Costs:

Costs depend on the weight, method, and delivery address. You can estimate shipping charges by entering your zip code in our cart's “estimate shipping & tax” section.

Ground shipping is usually the least costly method.

Delivery Delays:

Delays can occur due to production issues, busy seasons, or unforeseen circumstances. We are committed to communicating effectively and managing your expectations.

We are not responsible for delays caused by manufacturers or unforeseen events, including customs delays.

30-Days

You have 30 days from receiving your item to initiate a return. To qualify, the item must be in its original condition, unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. A receipt or proof of purchase is required.

Initiating a Return

Email us at modern@modernfurnishings.com to start a return. Upon acceptance, we’ll provide instructions for returning your package, including pickup arrangements if applicable. Returns without prior approval will not be accepted. Please note that the buyer covers all return shipping costs and a restocking fee of 25% unless the item is defective.

Damages and Issues

Inspect your order upon arrival. If you find any defects, damage, or incorrect items, contact us immediately to address and rectify the issue.

Return Exceptions

The following items cannot be returned:

Made-to-Order Products: Customized items made to your specifications.

Non-Returnable Products: Specifically marked as non-returnable.

Installed/Assembled Products: Items that have been used or assembled.

Original Condition and Packaging: Items must be returned as received.

White Glove Delivery Products: Signed-for items, received in good condition.

Open Box Items: Previously returned but non-defective items.

Gift Cards: These are non-refundable.

All Sale Items: All items that are purchased on sale.

Cancellations

General Orders: Cancel within 48 hours of order placement.

Made-to-Order Items: Cancellations not accepted after 48 hours.

After Shipment/Processing: The customer is responsible for round-trip shipping charges.

Exchanges

For a seamless exchange, return the original item and then place a new order.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the status of your refund approval. Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method, minus any applicable shipping costs, restocking fees, and non-refundable transaction processing fees.

Please note that payment processing fees charged by banks, credit card companies, or third-party payment processors at the time of the original purchase are non-refundable. These fees are not retained by ModernFurnishings.com, but are charged to process the original transaction. As a result, approved refunds may be reduced by the applicable transaction processing fee, typically up to 3% of the original order amount.

Processing times for refunds to appear on your account may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.
