Free standard shipping is available on eligible orders that total $99 and above (s ome exclusions apply) . Sub-total of order must be greater than or equal to $99 after discounts/coupons are applied.

All orders are shipped from Canada. Consequently, it's important to note that import duties and local taxes may be applicable to your order. These charges will be assessed by the third-party carrier upon the arrival of your order in the US. Please be aware that these charges are the responsibility of the customer and should be covered accordingly.

Shipping Service and Details

•Shipping is only available within Canada and US.

•We do not ship to PO Boxes. Buyer is responsible for the shipping cost of any return package if the package is rejected for any reason or the provided shipping address is undeliverable.

•We do not ship on Saturdays, Sundays, or Holidays.

•Unless otherwise stated, please allow 1-3 business days from the date of purchase for your order to process before shipping.

•All orders will be shipped either via CANPAR, CANADA POST or UPS.

•For an additional cost, we offer Priority Shipping within Canada. Once your order has processed, you should expect to receive shipment within 2 to 4 business days.

Shipping Rate

To obtain an approximation of the shipping costs associated with your order, follow these steps:

Begin by creating a simulated order by placing items into your cart.

Enter your shipping information during the checkout process.

Notably, you won't be required to input payment information at this stage; the shipping fee will be visible prior to reaching the payment step.

It's important to understand that the shipping charges reflect what we incur from our third-party carriers. Given that a substantial portion of our product range consists of solid wood items, they tend to be heavier compared to some other toys and furniture. Additionally, many of our products are packaged in large, oversized boxes, which can contribute to higher shipping costs.

Tracking Information

Tracking information will be provided for package(s) at the time of shipment. You will receive a shipment confirmation email with the shipping and tracking information. You can use your tracking number on the carrier’s website (e.g. UPS or USPS) to check the status of your shipment. If you have created an account with Kinderhood you may also log into your account, and click on your order under “Order History” to view the tracking number.

Missing or Late Packages

If you have not received your package, and the tracking information states the order has been delivered, please try the following:

•Be sure to check everywhere around the delivery location. Carriers sometimes will leave deliveries with neighbors, building managers, or places such as your patio, in front of your garage, behind a bush, or your porch.

•You may also call or visit your local post office or UPS with the tracking number. Your local post office or UPS will be able to ask the carrier where the package may have been left.

•If the tracking information show the item was returned to us, please email support@kinderhood.ca for further assistance.

Late Packages may be due to:

•Incorrect address

•Payment Delay or Issue

•CANPAR, UPS or CANADA POST failure to deliver, e.g. severe weather conditions

•Any changes made to the order after submitting an order

At Kinderhood we care about your satisfaction. If you are dissatisfied with your purchase, you may exchange or return your item(s) within 30 days of the sale date for a refund of your purchase price (less shipping and any applied discounts.)

Our policy lasts 30 days, if 30 days has passed since your purchase, we’re sorry, but we can’t accept this item as a return, refund, or exchange.

To be eligible for a refund, returned item(s) must be in new, unused, and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging with all instructions intact.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. Please forward your sales confirmation email to support@kinderhood.ca and request a refund or exchange. Exchange: We only replace items if they are defective or damaged when received.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted: (if applicable)

Products with obvious signs of use

Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.

Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery

​ Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email confirming receipt of your returned item(s). We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

Upon approval, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied in the same form as the original payment type. Please allow up to 2 billing cycles to see your credit on your statement. If for some reason we cannot issue a refund to the credit card used at purchase, we will send a check to the purchaser at the billing address provided at purchase.

HOW TO RETURN PACKAGES?

Take the package to your preferred shipping location to have it delivered back to us. You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item, however Kinderhood may assist in providing a shipping label upon request. Shipping costs are non-refundable, unless the item(s) is defective. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

If you’re returning a product due to a defective or damaged item(s), please contact customer support for a prepaid return label.

We highly recommend that you send your package in a manner that is trackable such as UPS or CANADA POST with Delivery Confirmation to ensure receipt of your return, or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item, and will not be held responsible for returned items lost in transit.

To return item(s), please pack the item(s) and include the original packing slip. You can use the original box the item was shipped in, if possible. Make sure all items are packed tightly and securely. We’re not responsible for breakage during shipment of returned items.

HOW TO RETURN/EXCHANGE DAMAGES AND DEFECTS?

Goods that are defective or damaged upon delivery may be exchanged for the same item or a full refund may be issued, subject to Seller’s discretion. Buyer should save the Goods and all original boxes and packaging. Timely receipt of this information is necessary to file a damage claim with the freight carrier and avoid delays in returns and replacements. Please contact us at support@kinderhood.ca immediately upon receipt of package to report any defects or arrived damages.

WHERE IS MY REFUND?

If you have not received a refund yet, first check your bank account.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.If you have done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at support@kinderhood.ca .

Only regular priced item(s) may be refunded, unfortunately sale item(s) cannot be refunded and returned. Sale item(s) may be replaced with the same item(s) if they are defective or damaged when received.
