We ship domestically within the United States as well as internationally.

We primarily use UPS, FedEx, and DHL Express for deliveries.

Orders are typically processed within 1–3 business days (excluding weekends and holidays).

Our daily cutoff time is 6:00 PM EST. Orders placed after this time will ship on the next business day.

3. Shipping Methods & Delivery Times

Delivery times and costs may vary based on location and shipping method:

Economy (U.S. Ground): 15–28 days, $20 flat rate.

UPS Ground: 5–7 days; rate calculated at checkout.

UPS 3‑Day Select: Delivery in 3 business days.

UPS 2nd Day Air: Delivery in 2 business days.

UPS Next Day Air: Delivery the next business day.

DHL Express Worldwide: 2–5 days; rate calculated at checkout.

4. International Shipping & Duties

International customers may have the option to prepay duties and taxes at checkout to minimize customs delays.

Full tracking is provided for all international shipments.

6. Tracking & Delivery

Tracking information will be emailed to you once your order ships.

If your tracking status shows “Delivered” but you have not received the package, please check with neighbors or the carrier first. If the package is still missing, contact us for assistance.

This Refund & Return Policy outlines the terms that govern all orders placed through BuyDirectNY.com (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By placing an order, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these terms. The policy is designed to clearly define responsibilities and protect both parties, particularly in the event of disputes or chargebacks.

1. Order Cancellations

Time‑sensitive: You may request to cancel an order within 24–48 hours after purchase, provided the order has not yet been processed or shipped. To do so, you must call our customer support line (email requests alone will not be accepted).

Once processing or shipping has begun, cancellations are no longer guaranteed.

Pre‑orders and special orders may incur a 15 % cancellation fee, which covers administrative and restocking costs.

2. Return & Refund Requests

Return window: You have 15 calendar days from the date of delivery to request a return. After this period, returns cannot be accepted.

Condition: Items must be unused, in their original packaging, and include all manuals, accessories, and documentation. If an item is returned used or without its original packaging and accessories, it will not qualify for a refund.

To initiate a return, you must contact us at info@buydirectny.com or call our support line to obtain a Return Authorization (RA) number. Returns without an RA number will be refused.

3. Return Shipping Responsibilities

Unless the return is due to our shipping error or a product defect, customers are responsible for return shipping costs.

We strongly recommend using a trackable shipping method and retaining proof of shipment. Items lost in transit without proof of delivery cannot be refunded.

4. Refund Processing

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund within 5 business days.

Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 15 business days after approval. Shipping fees (original or return) are not refundable unless the return is the result of our error or a defective product.

5. Restocking Fees

Most returns are subject to a 15 % restocking fee. This fee is waived only if the return is due to our error (e.g., wrong item shipped) or a verified product defect.

If a returned item is missing components or shows signs of use or damage, the refund may be reduced or denied entirely.

6. Non‑Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned or refunded:

Products that have been opened or used.

Gift cards or electronic vouchers.

Software or OEM items (unless defective and unopened).

Special order or pre‑order items (unless defective).

7. Exchanges

We offer exchanges on eligible items. If you would like a different product, contact us at info@buydirectny.com or call our support line within the return window to arrange an exchange, subject to product availability and the return conditions in this policy. Any price difference will be charged or refunded accordingly.

8. Damaged or Defective Items

Immediate reporting required: If your order arrives damaged or defective, you must notify us within 48 hours of delivery by emailing info@buydirectny.com with photos and a description of the damage.

Once your claim is approved, we will either replace the item or issue a full refund at no additional cost to you.

9. Documentation for Disputes

All requests (cancellations, returns, or damage claims) must be documented via email or through our phone support line. We retain copies of all communications to assist in resolving any potential disputes or chargebacks.

To help us process any dispute or chargeback claim, please keep records of your order confirmation, RA number, and proof of return shipment.

International Orders (Brazil, Mexico, Canada, and other non-U.S. destinations)

For orders shipped outside the United States, the following terms apply in addition to, and where specified in place of, the sections above:

Return window: 15 calendar days from the date of delivery.

Product condition: Returns are accepted only for new, unused, factory-sealed products in their original retail packaging, with all accessories, manuals, and documentation included. Opened or used international items are not eligible for return.

Return shipping: The customer is responsible for all return shipping costs to our New York returns facility. We recommend a fully insured, fully trackable courier service such as DHL, FedEx, or UPS. Original outbound shipping fees are non-refundable.

Import duties, taxes, and DDP fees: Any import duties, Value-Added Tax (VAT), GST, Sales & Service Tax (SST), customs broker fees, or Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) charges that were collected on the original shipment are non-refundable. These charges are remitted to the destination country's customs authority and cannot be recovered by BuyDirect.

Restocking fee: International returns are exempt from the 15% domestic restocking fee, provided the item is returned in new, unopened, factory-sealed condition. Items returned in any other condition may be refused or refunded only in part.

Refund processing: Once your international return is received and inspected, approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 15 business days, less original outbound shipping and any non-refundable duties or taxes described above.

Damaged or defective items: For products received damaged or defective, the 48-hour notification requirement in section 8 applies. Approved defect claims will result in either a replacement or a full refund of the product price, at no additional return shipping cost to you.

Return Authorization (RA): As with all returns, an RA number is required before shipping. Contact info@buydirectny.com or call our support line to obtain one. International returns shipped without an RA will be refused at the carrier's expense.

All other terms of this policy continue to apply to international orders.
