Delivery Policy for Stu’s Home Improvement Outlet

At Stu’s Home Improvement Outlet, we are committed to providing reliable and convenient delivery services for all of our customers. Please review the terms and conditions of our delivery policy:

1. Delivery Location:

Garage Delivery: If the customer’s property includes a garage, we will deliver the purchased items to the garage. Our delivery team will place the items in the garage as requested, unless otherwise specified by the customer.

Curbside Delivery: If the customer does not have a garage, we will deliver the items to the curb or edge of the driveway. The delivery driver will leave the items in the designated location at the curb.

2. Delivery Restrictions:

No Entry into Home: For the safety and protection of both the customer and our delivery team, we will not enter the home for any deliveries. Items will be delivered to the garage or curbside only. No exceptions.

Access Considerations: If there are access restrictions (e.g., narrow driveways, gated entrances), please inform us in advance so we can arrange a suitable solution.

3. No Warranty for Delivery to Garage or Curb:

No Warranty on Unboxed or Damaged Items: Items delivered to the garage or curbside are not covered by warranty unless the customer inspects and accepts the delivery in person at the time of delivery. Any damage or defects noticed after delivery is the responsibility of the customer.

No Warranty on Labor: We will not be held responsible for any damage to property during delivery, nor will we offer any warranty for labor related to unloading or installing the items. Please ensure the designated drop-off area is prepared and clear for our delivery team.

4. Subcontractor Use:

Third-Party Subcontractors: We may use subcontractors or third-party delivery services to handle the delivery of items. While we ensure that all subcontractors meet our standards, Stu’s Home Improvement Outlet is not liable for any issues or damages caused by third-party service providers.

5. Delivery Scheduling and Fees:

Delivery Fees: Delivery fees are calculated at checkout based on distance and the size of the items.

Scheduling: We will schedule deliveries based on availability and confirm the delivery date with the customer. Delivery windows are subject to availability and may vary depending on the location.

Customer Responsibility:

Preparation: The customer must ensure that the delivery area (e.g., garage, curb) is accessible and clear of obstacles. The customer is responsible for ensuring there is adequate space for delivery and that the location is easily accessible.

Inspection at Delivery: The customer is responsible for inspecting the items at the time of delivery to confirm there are no damages. Once the items are delivered to the garage or curb, they are considered accepted and final sale.
