Carrier Selection and Oversized Item Delivery

We choose the most appropriate carrier and method for your order.

Parcel deliveries

All deliveries that are delivered through parcel service include threshold only service. The deliveries do not require a signature, and cannot have an appointment scheduled. If you require any changes to the estimated delivery with the carrier, we ask that you reach out to the carrier to coordinate a required change.

Freight/LTL deliveries

Deliveries are scheduled by appointment. Customers will be contacted in advance to arrange a suitable time.

Delivery window length is dependent on the carrier.

This service is curbside or threshold based on carrier and geography.

The carrier will not remove pallets, packaging, or other materials used to secure shipment.

Appointments must be made within five (5) days of original carrier outreach.

Any fees associated with holds, storage fees, or re-delivery attempts will be passed along to the customer.

Alaska & Hawaii Shipping

Coverage

Available to Alaska and Hawaii.

Shipping Method

Via FedEx Home Delivery, UPS, USPS, or other carriers dependent on item size and transportation methods available. In some instances we will ship via a boat out of the port of Long Beach.

Lead Times

Lead times for delivery are extended on average 14–21 days.

Fees

20% of order value, with a minimum fee of $195.

White Glove Delivery & Assembly

Coverage

Available across the contiguous 48 states.

We select the optimal carrier and service level to ensure a smooth delivery and setup experience for your order.

White Glove service includes scheduled appointments at your convenience, with our team reaching out in advance to coordinate a suitable delivery time. This service provides in-home placement, full assembly, and removal of all packaging materials, leaving your space clean and ready to enjoy.

Appointments should be confirmed within five (5) days of initial carrier outreach.

Any fees related to additional storage or re-delivery attempts may apply if delays occur outside of scheduled arrangements.

Fees

10% of order value, with a minimum fee of $249.

It is important to us that you love your new Neighbor furniture. As such, we will accept return requests for undamaged and unaltered products within 45 days of your delivery date . Please reach out to us at support@hineighbor.com if you’d like to initiate a return.

For most assembled or partially assembled items, we will leverage our partnership with FloorFound to assist with the shipment of your return. For most unassembled or still in-box items, we will provide prepaid shipping labels and ask that you send the products back to us. We do not supply shipping boxes but are more than happy to help schedule a pick-up for you. Once your items are returned and inspected (within 48–72 hrs of delivery confirmation), we will issue you a refund. Depending on the condition of your items, your refund may be subject to a 15% restocking fee.

We are not able to refund any shipping costs paid at checkout at this time in the event a return occurs.

Note that all replacement cushions are final sale and ineligible for return or exchange.

Refunds

Once your items are returned and inspected (within 48

– 72 hrs of delivery confirmation), we will issue you a refund. Depending on the condition of your items, your refund may be subject to a 15% restocking fee. The refund will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days depending on your bank. If you’ve been notified that your product is being refunded, and have not seen the funds on your initial form of payment within 5 – 7 business days, please reach out to us at support@hineighbor.com .

Exchanges

We treat exchanges the same as returns. Should you want to exchange your Neighbor furniture for something else, please initiate the request via email at support@hineighbor.com .

Damages

We stand behind our products, and should you experience anything that might be regarded as damage or manufacturing defects, we’ll make it right. Please contact us at support@hineighbor.com with photos and a description of the problem and we’ll work to get it resolved as quickly as possible.

Return Policy Limitation

We allow one return per customer within a 12-month period from the date of purchase. This limitation ensures fairness and consistency in our return process. Additional return requests within the same 12-month period will not be eligible for processing. We appreciate your understanding and encourage you to reach out with any questions before making your purchase.
