We know shipping can cost a fortune when purchasing gear, and we’re happy to offer FREE shipping on your order of over $99 in new gear in the continental U.S. with only a few exceptions for oversized items.

Exceptions to the free shipping offer include roof rack boxes, large boards, and some large sails and booms. These items are bulky, oddly shaped, and oversized and require extra time and effort to package safely. They also incur additional fees from shipping carriers.

Air Freight Shipping for Large Boards

For eligible oversized boards, we offer flat-rate air freight shipping to help move large gear more safely and efficiently.

Air freight is commonly used for wing boards, downwind boards, kite surfboards, and windsurf boards that are too large

or fragile for normal parcel shipping.

Important: air freight shipments are not delivered to your home. Your board ships to a commercial

airport cargo facility near you, where you pick it up in person after it arrives.

New eligible large boards: $99 flat rate

Used eligible large boards: $179 flat rate

Pickup method: customer pickup at the airport cargo facility

Eligible boards and available shipping options will be shown at checkout. Twin tips, kite foil boards, pump foil boards,

foils, sails, wings, and smaller accessories are not included in this board air freight flat-rate program unless otherwise

stated at checkout.

Most standard ground shipments from Windance leave from Hood River, Oregon 97031. To make checkout

delivery estimates more helpful, we group U.S. states into general ground delivery zones based on typical

carrier transit times from our location.

These estimates are for standard ground shipments after your order has shipped. Delivery times

may vary due to carrier delays, weather, holidays, rural addresses, oversized items, and warehouse processing time.

Shipping Time Maps

Ground delivery times are estimated using standard carrier transit maps from Hood River, Oregon 97031.

These maps are meant to give a visual guide to typical delivery timing and may vary by carrier and destination.

•USPS, FedEx, and UPS transit times may vary slightly by service and ZIP code.

•Remote, rural, oversized, and freight shipments may take longer.

•Delivery estimates begin once your order has shipped, not when the order is placed.

Occasionally, actual shipping cost may drastically exceed the amount charged for shipping at checkout. In these cases, Windance will contact you to confirm whether you'd like to pay the additional shipping costs, cancel the order, arrange in-store pickup, or pursue an alternate fulfillment method.

Shipping fees apply to Hawaii, Alaska, U.S. territories, international shipments, used gear, and orders less than $100.

We typically ship small items by US Postal Service, medium sized orders by FedEx and large items by truck freight.

We always strive to find the best shipping prices available and take care to package your items safely.

A few notes about shipping:

•Unless otherwise noted we allow FedEx to leave shipments unsigned at your address

•Truck freight orders do not ship to residential addresses. You pick them up at the nearest depot.

•Many Canadian orders get shipped to a US border town shipping depot such as "Ship Happens"

•Many Caribbean & South American orders get shipped to Miami to freight forwarders offices

•Please do not throw away the packaging if you suspect you are missing items or have shipping damage

New unused items in their original packaging and tags may be returned within 30 days of purchase. You can return the item for a refund, store credit, or exchange.

For refunds, you will be refunded for the full value of your purchase minus shipping costs

•If you paid for shipping, you will be refunded for the full value of your purchase minus the shipping cost you paid.

•If you did not pay for shipping, you will be refunded for the full value of your purchase minus the cost we paid to ship your order.

•You are responsible for returning your item(s) to Windance by any method you choose and for any associated shipping costs.

•You are responsible for presenting proof of purchase in the form of an email order confirmation, receipt or order number. Returns will not be issued without proof of purchase. Contact us is if you need help locating proof of purchase.

•Refunds must be issued to the original payment method.

•If you exchange your product for an item that is a different price, you will be charged or refunded for the difference in price.

•Products that are damaged in transit back to Windance cannot be refunded, so make sure to package them well!

To return an item in-store:

Bring your item in its original packaging and your proof of purchase to Windance and we'll process your return on-the-spot.

To return an item by mail:

•Email us your order details to get a Return Authorization number (RA#)

•Package your product up well to avoid damage in transit

•Mail your package to the following address, including your RA# on the package label as follows:

When we receive the returned product, we will send your replacement immediately or if out of stock, as soon as it’s available, and issue you any any refunds applicable.

Other Scenarios:

If you receive an incorrect item, we’ll replace it immediately and cover all the associated costs. Let us know when you receive an incorrect item and we’ll provide you with a return shipping label to return it to us if possible and send you the correct item immediately or if out of stock, as soon as it’s available.

Items that you purchased new and that have no damage or defects but are not in their original condition and packaging may be returned up to 30 days after purchase for a 20% restocking fee.

Used gear purchases cannot be returned, refunded, or exchanged. However, if your used gear is in good condition, we encourage you to inquire about selling it through our consignment program.
